About Undring

Undring is an independent journal for philosophy and theory from the margins publishing contributions from across the Nordic region. We are based in Bergen.

Undring aims to publish at least one physical issue of our journal per semester aiming at topics that the editorial-board finds interesting. We publish both experienced and inexperienced writers, with the goal of being a place for the creation of new ideas. Undring helps with the organising of a diverse set of initiatives aimed at furthering the position of philosophy of theory, for instance helping with the organising of unofficial courses in theory and philosophy in Bergen and hosting.

We are non-commercial and party-politically independent. The journal is committed to Vær-Varsom-Plakaten, our chief-editors are similarly bound by Redaktørplakaten, and all our elected volunteers have signed onto the ethical guidelines of Humanistisk Studentutvalg by the University of Bergen.
